Float: a warp or weft thread that passes over the top of several weft or warp threads at a time, so that a variety of relief patterns can be formed.

DVD: 90 modules, 16 seconds each. Written in Processing.

A very simple grid of greyscale gradients in ten different states. The video modules show every possible transformation between one state and all of the others. The control system of the DVD plays the modules so that they connect seamlessly, forming an endless nonlinear sequence.
